Hey, mates, have researched JOzE100... Is it worth to buy? And how it feels in random nowadays? Is it some still due to nerf of FV?

I would get it with the discount, some people like it and you won't lose much selling it a month later.

I got my Jagdpanzer E 100 last Christmas. Here are my observations:

  • It's not the most meta tank destroyer of Tier X, so if you're looking for that, skip it.
  • It does, however, come with a reasonably accurate 17cm gun, which you can turn into a railgun when equipped with Improved Ventilation and Improved Aiming.
  • Its 420mm HEAT allows you to virtually auto-aim the 279e, which is, quite frankly, cathartic.
  • Its alpha damage gives Tier VIII and IX tanks headaches even if you haven't fired your gun.
  • It turns like a supertanker, which is to say, it doesn't.
  • Its armour is reasonably reliable if you learn what you shouldn't expose, and where to sit during a battle in various given maps.
  • The reload is very, very long, in stark contrast to the Jagdtiger at Tier IX; as such, the playstyle changes significantly, since you can't rely on your own reload to dissuade multiple enemies from flanking you.
  • Like any true high-tier German heavy vehicle, this is a slow and lumbering super-heavy with mediocre mobility.

How it feels in Random battles is highly dependent upon your positioning, team, and if applicable your platoon. There are always these games where your team is utterly helpless regardless of what you do, but even then, the Jagdpanzer E 100 can make you smile just because you're the only person that can dissuade a strong enemy from pushing in your immediate direction.

I am running mine with a Gun Rammer in the Firepower slot, Improved Aiming and Improved Ventilation; together with Brothers in Arms I have 0,3m dispersion, 431m view range and a 20,86s reload (please take note that I don't use food, which would augment these values even further).

It's fun in some situation.

It can be a very frustrating vehicle, it all depends on how the stars align.

Worthy to buy just if you have already all the better tier X and you want to play a brick with a big peepee. :coin:

JpzE100 is very fun to play but it is a terrible tank. And most people playing it dont even know how to play it but sit in a bush at the red line and snipe with it. That is not what it is made for. It is an assault TD not a bushwanker.

Yea, too bad the damage seem to be caped at 950 but mostly hit the 800's or very low 900's. WOuld be a decent tank if it did 1k+ average.

I would say no but then again I remember how funny it is to blow up a full HP IS-7 ammorack with penetrating the upper plate so I say yes

If you are easily upset by tanks, do not buy.

It can be great fun if you able to take a relaxed attitude to those times it just will not work, and enjoy the times it really does. The look on the faces of the "impenetrable" heavy Driver (even if you have to imagine it)is well worth it, at least to me.

I did something even more fun, ammoracked an unspotted K91 with a blindfire on Prokhorovka.

Also comes with a very high fear factor, that you can use to bind enemy forces and let your team shoot them when they watch you.

Good tank for those familiar with aggressive TD play.

I got 2-5k dmg with it, it's fun... always fun to hit someone with 1200 dmg xD

It does do over 1000 dmg. And that in and on itself is a satisfying piece of knowledge.

As some previous post suggest, running this beast with gun handling improvements makes this a very satisfying railgun pounding hard.

But, as a turretless TD is has its typical characteristics. And is a taste you've gotta be comfortable with.

I myself use IA, Rammer and GLD and basically run along with the teams heavies rather than go redline it.

While some battles go horrible for some inexplicable reasons. It has not detracted me from taking this puppy out and have good fun, sometimes even a field day:B

Pardon me for being sceptical.
