First of all, the tier IX is much better tier for tier compared to the tier X which is not a bad in particular but the fact that the tier IX almost beats the tier X in performance is worrying.

 

In this post ill be suggesting some tweaks to shake up the IX-X tanks and ultimately make the tier X better as its

underperforming quite alot. (48% WR on EU)

Tracks (Last Engine)

 -AMX M4 mle. 51 tracks traverse speed on HARD terrain reduced to 29.04*/sec (from 39.04*/sec)

 -AMX M4 mle. 51 tracks traverse speed on MEDIUM terrain reduced to 25.44*/sec (from 36.44*/sec)

 

 -AMX M4 mle. 51 tracks traverse speed on SOFT terrain reduced to 18.86*/sec (from 21.86*/sec)

 -127mm/54 model 1948 rounds per minute increased to 5.01 (from 4.71)

 -127mm/54 model 1948 reload time decreased to 11.97s (from 12.73s)

The changes to AMX M4 mle. 51 should make the tank not so powerful against tier IX opponents and tier X opponents while enhancing the "terrible" high caliber gun it has

making the tank feel more sluggish only makes the tier X look better and with the buff to the end gun, it should solidify which gun is better, although penetration values remaining small might make you think more before mounting the bigger gun.

Alright with that said, lets get to the end of the line tank, the not-so legendary AMX M4 mle. 54, the tier 10 French single-shot heavy tank.

What do you guys think, are these changes too much, too little, wrong or not?

This post was a prettly long journey for me as i had to do alot of researching but it was fun while it lasted.

This post will probably not influence any in-game stats but just maybe if we get alot of attention.

But enough talking nonsense, TL;DR - This post aimed to improve the tier 10 while bringing the tier 9's power

more in-line with other tier 9 heavies.

That can be said about most tier 9's. Tier for tier they are way better than the tier X. Or just flat out better.

Fully agree with any buffs to the tier 10 and tier 8. Not the tier 9 though. It's one of the best tier 9 heavies.

 

Those other two though are really bad by any standard.

Right right, the buffs to tier 9 weren't intended to make the tank perform better but to make the other gun (the bigger gun) viable whilst trading quite alot of mobility to gain some dpm.

And by trading mobility, i mean the traverse speed nerf it will make the tank feel really sluggish.

And for the engines, the last engine has 1100hp, i decided to buff the other 2 engines in hopes of making the grind easier for players just getting the tank, 10hp/t is horrible and with bad traverse it will make it feel like a french maus.
