So this is fairly simple, i never really post in the forums but this is crazy, never encountered this before. It Happens fairly early in the replay, i drie to the left towards the railway, suddenly i try to shoot the churchill i think it was, and i lose complete control over my tank, first i thought this might be a connection issue or something  but i clearly see the guy responding to me and i recieve damage but can't control the tank, only when i'm about to die i cet control back, is this a bug or a hack or something? Anyone know?

Can't watch replay now, but it sounds like something I had before and was mentioned at the forum before, that movement keys seem stuck. For me pressing the windows key (or alt-tab) out of the game and then back in, solved the problem.

Just watched it....even though your ping was good, you had bad packet loss. No hacks or cheats......just something on your end interferring with your signal upload.

No hack can lock your steering just so that's said. That's still done by the server, and enemy tanks can't send a signal back to the server to lock it.

But you had a packet loss issue. Even tho you still get info from the server as you still did take damage etc. The aspect of controlling your tank and that data stream was lost. It's rare, but it can happen.

I have, from time to time, had issues with the tank turning one way or another with no applicable keyboard or mouse (aiming) input. It refuses to stop doing so for many seconds.

I also have had- but not for a LOOOONG time, episodes of continuing forward as though in cruise control ® mode when I am as certain as I can be that I wasn't. Maybe I was and that is why I haven't seen it in ages, but the above has happened in the last six months.

I always put it down to network connection/packet loss, but I have fibre connection with ping usually at 40ms average so it's not the basic connection/lag- at least it shouldn't be at my end.

There was times in the past that such things happened to me...mostly caused by me accidentally hitting the 'Enter' key which opens the in game chat box.....which just also happens to remove control of your tank while the chat box is open. The OP's case was packet loss.

I had this issue a lot at a previous residence and it definitely is a connection issue. It doesn't matter how low your ping is if the connection isn't stable.

Yes it's packet loss. When you know about packet loss you can use it when you do something stupid, just type in chat 'Sry, packet loss'.

I don't believe it is "just packet loss".

I lost control all the time. Sometimes it takes minutes to stop.

I can do everything else than stop the tank. Shoot, write chat, ping map etc.

It's a new feature of rng. Copletely random and you cannot fix it. You could use VPN to reroute your connection, but in my opinion it's just silly.
