Hello everyone, i'm looking to recreate  "Piciu’s War Thunder Gun Sounds" mods which was for me the best sound mod available at that time. My only problem is that I have no experience in modding in general. So I collect as much information as possible before starting to recreate this mod.

 

I've got some questions :

 - Which program is the best to do this task  ? Wwise or FMOD (the original mod was made with FMOD). I've looked a bit int this section of the forum and i saw that Wwise seems mandatory for sound creation ? Is it true or FMOD is still a good platform ?

- I have already seen that there is a tutorial space for Wwise : http://forum.worldof...nd-engine-faq/  but does one exist for FMOD in WoT forum ?

- I have old versions of Piciu's mod, is it better to start from these old versions or is it better to redo one from the beginning?

I am not a sound modder, but as far I know FMOD was old sound system that is abandoned and replaced by WWISE.
