Hi.

Don't know how to phrase it correctly, But are premium tanks in loot boxes limited to the ones the had shown?

Or they also include tanks such is 50 tp prototype, IS-3A or lefh ?

 

Because I have no interest in any tank listed in the boxes.

The Italian heavy is bland looking tank with a bland gameplay, The British TD is an abomination  I don't know how people are looking forward to get it.

The rest are premium tanks are not interesting for me at least.

 

So I noticed there are 4 Lootboxes, Do they have a different set of premium tanks?

 

I don't want loot boxes just for premiums ofc, I want them for Premium time and credits, but the premium tanks are the special course.

 

Can I get Christmas boxes from 2019?

In World of Tanks, you get what you buy. The loot boxes will only drop tanks from the list found in the article. If you were planning to buy loot boxes for the tanks alone but don't like the options, don't buy loot boxes.

 

Also, the difference between loot boxes will only be in the decorations you receive - there are four, one for each collection. Everything else that drops from them will be the exact same.

Nope, that is more for the style of decorations you want. As in the camo set rewars etc you want to complete first.

Yes, As I Said, I'm not buying loot boxes just for the tanks, I'm also looking for premium time, gold and credits.

But Premium tanks play a big part in loot boxes, so If I were to get lootbox just for premium time, gold and credits Then I might as well buy them straight from the store.

 

So I'm looking for a good deal but if I got a Premium tank that I would never play doesn't seem like a good deal for me. (If that makes sense)

What Homer said. The primary motivation behind boxes should be the decorations and the gold - everything else is an extra. (Fortunately, gold translates well into premium time, and decorations into credits, so you're lucking out there). Purchasing them will give you a headstart in Holiday Ops (which give you up to eight ladies with 0-skill BiA and a big bonus to credit making) as well as a nice stockpile of currency and some possible random extras (premium days, credits, and/or tanks) but don't buy them for the RNG-gated rewards; instead, see those as a possible bonus.

The premiums in the boxes will be sold on its own next year at some point for me to think that tbh. If I really want one of them, I'll buy it then instead. But tbh, none of the new tier 8's seem appealing for me to buy 200 boxes in hopes of getting at least one.

no; the lootbox cost is from the guaranteed drops. 250 gold + how much WG evaluates the decoration. Mind you, both values being grossly inflated.

 

What I mean - you probably wouldn't buy any decoration by itself. And probably you'd never buy 250 gold; as it's a bad offer.

 

tanks in lootbox matter in two ways:

 

a. it's a tank that you might like.

b. you get duplicates which are translated into gold. You already have a borat and, if another one drops from the lootboxes, you get the gold value instead.

 

personally, I'm not interested in any of the tanks in lootboxes this year. I mean, they're all trash outside borat. And borat I already have. But I expect to get a good chunk of gold from duplicates.

I hope you realise that addiction and F.O.M.O. (Fear Of Missing Out) overwrites simple logic like that, right?

It's like telling a gambling addict to not go to a casino to try and win money.

It's like telling a drug addict to not buy and use more drugs.

 

Do you really think that addicts don't know that it's bad? Saying something as "you shouldn't do that, because it's bad" will change their actions?

Of course not. They're addicted, and WG knows that, and thus, exploit that fact by selling these boxes.

If WG would have any decency, they'd at least sell the new exclusive tanks seperately from the boxes. Because now, they're purposefully exploiting the fact that people are addicted, and are getting away with it.

Buy boxes for the gold. Anything that comes with that is a bonus.
