Fearsome, fun, formidable... a double-barreled brute is waiting for you at the top of this Soviet heavy tank line!

I have the IS-3-II but I'm not a fan of this double barrel sytem, maybe it will change if I get the final guns instead of these peashooters. And indeed, ST-II looks awesome so this is a good opportunity to research it.

Well, at least until WG buffs alpha from 440 to 490, so then double penetration for 1k damage will be kind of fun to try out;)

And when u finally get ST II , you notice that it's actually worse than tier 9 topped out. It's ok, trollishly fun to smack Hi roll doubleshot, but the tier 9 was a lot better despite lower alpha.
ST-II really needs a bit off buff in loading time, turret rework , and maybe that 5sec waiting before able to shoot another barrel should be dropped to 3s.

"Play either as a snappy autoloader "

Compared with real autoloaders on tier VIII, IX and X, call this tank an autoloader hurts my feelings  :child:

Is it possible to combine this discount with the Christmas-Chuck discounts? :hiding:

I kinda like ST-|| and usually I play it for the 100 bonds per week, yet it seems a bit meh and not very convinient to play. Turret traverse is veeeeery slow, so bounty rotation mechanism is a must, and the armor is not good enough as it is at t9 level.

I don´t think so. Normally the system takes into account just the highest discount... but I double-check just in case.

ST2 between tier 10 Heavies it’s like WZ-132 between Lights or 121 between Mediums:P

that is a kind of bad comparison... even if meant as a joke...

Because in fact, that while tank has its' own downgrades, yes, like all tanks should, it does have gun depression better than other soviet heavy tanks of the tier and blasting someone for 880 feels good. all it requires - are a little mobility buff and it's good.

so i think you are objectively wrong with the way you put forward that comparison.

as if implying 121 is bad or something, which it isn't.

WZ-132 isn't either, still one of the better T8 lights. or pocket mediums, in that case.

but yes, IS-32 is tier-for-tier better than him.

Ah, so this is why I've seen so many double-barreled tanks today.

Shouldnt be buffed, it is already more accurate than certain french autoloader heavies. First buff single barrel T10 tanks so they are equal to a tank that can shoot twice as fast.

a heavy tank that can shoot every 6 seconds +- , its incredible OP when played skillfully

just to bad it gives me motion sickness when it moves the whole sreen to line up with the crosshair change after firing

is there a mod that stops the whole screen from moving an inch to left n right back nforth after each shot ?  as i play on a 48 inch tv, i get really sick after a while

The double barrel mechanism is a real let down.

Single shot has the better DPM and so the ONLY value in using the double shot is the novelty of it and once you've done it a few times that novelty wears off and you are left with a low pen gun with an annoying aim circle that keeps shifting after each shot.

IF a double penetration had also provided some greater impact then it would be worth the cost/risk but doesn't.

A real wasted opportunity, unlike this post :great:
