No you don't need Twitch Prime. All you need to do is link your WG account and watch the streams

This is actually epic! I missed last year's team clash, so this is a golden opportunity for me. I hope the styles will also be made available eventually, even for gold/cash, but I'd also understand if WG decides to keep some exclusivity for those who earned(/bought) them last year.
