Spending money onto how the game was designed from day 1 and on all the items they sold over 10 years for a feature of the game is retarded?

 

Why did they not advertise it? "Buy the crew boosters, train with gold, and free exp buff --- oh by the way we will wipe it out and give you the finger"

 

And based on what you call it "broken system"? I am pretty curious . For once was one thing in this game that was NOT broken

 

 

And by the way I don't see an argument on switching tank crews. That's what you buy premium tanks for (training all crew), that's why you buy barracks slots (keeping good crews for future tanks you may re-buy) and it was always part of the game.

 

A radical change like this is pointless, unless they just want to milk us some more.

Sometimes the changes kills the game. Not all changes are good. That is why they use the test server, some changes they wanted where really bad and they never put them in to the live game.
They should just re-work the skills and give every commander sixth sense.

There is nothing not to like in Equipment 2.0. All the old equipment is still here , they just added some new ones to give more variety. Compared to all the crying that happened on the forums about Equipment 2.0 i would say it was a massive success.

ALL my crews have zero skill BIA. From Berlin tanks, campaigns, events and marathon tanks.

Not a penny for WG till the changes go live and if they are bad, and they most likely will be, then the game will be uninstalled.

 

If my crews are gone then the game will be gone as well from my PC.

When Equipment 2.0 went live a lot of equipment slots were converted automatically and I would see the same happening again if those crew changes go live.

Why make things so complicated? Just rework the skills/perks and 99% of the player base will be fine.

We started monitoring the thread and your initial feedback when the thread was created but unfortunately we couldn't answer or reply what you were sharing.

 

Let me just say that even though some of this information is correct, the decision to move forward with Crew 2.0 and those changes is not finale and everything is still subject to change. Nothing is final and the Crew 2.0 feature is still under development. You will have the opportunity to participate in the early testing on the sandbox servers where you will be able to see and try the new system, share your feedback and impressions with us before we take our final decision. Just like HE changes, Ammo Rebalancing and Equipment 2.0. We will decide if we should move forward with those changes after we receive your feedback. So I invite you all to be there when the sandbox servers will be available.

 

There should a compensation mechanic if those changes go live, as we mentioned on several occasions, to ensure that your time, experience and gold/credits invested in those crews were not wasted.

Long standing precedent that you shouldn't expect gold spent in this way to be refunded - eg free XP conversion to get a tank that's nerfed.  They've always drawn the line at spending real cash.

Looks like WoT PC is following in WoT console's footsteps. Which is, to say, not really a good direction to head in, to inevitable doom. Aside from making 6th sense a zero-skill, there is no need for this complicated malarkey to end up in the game.

So i have 600 tanks, each with its own crew. After 2.0 i will only need maybe 200 of them? What of all the time and gold spent training these others? And selecting new skills is going to take me until June in the year 3000.

Boosters are not wiped out - the experience will get you higher skilled Crew 2.0.  Even gold retraining / reskilling will mean the crews are higher skilled & translate into better 2.0 crews.

How exactly though?

 

Let's say that you have a 4 - 6 crew you raised to 5-6 skills with boosters, gold, free exp and whatnot.

How will be looking with crew 2.0?

Well a 5-6 skill crew achieved with boosters will translate to a 75 point commander. If you hadn't used the boosters etc and the crew were still at 3-4 skill they would translate to maybe a 50 point commander, so you are still better off.

 

A 5-6 skill crew achieved with boosters would not turn out any better than a 5-6 skill crew achieved without boosters though, if that is what you are thinking. The only benefit you would get from boosters there is it took less games / grind to get to that level, which is the exact same benefit you have before crew 2.0.
