If you install the game and make sure your drivers are updated it plays just fine.

 

Having things in the res_mods folder just changes some of what you see on the screen.

 

WOT support is available if you are having trouble getting the game running.

 

 

(and yes I know what you are actually saying, but can't say that I really agree)

....or you could use them yourself and see if it actually does makes a difference to your gameplay.

Personally, I don't use them anymore as most of the ones that I used are now incorporated into the game client. But if others want to use them, as long as they're legal, let them carry on using them.

Mods and gold not make game fun more... So much cheat mods on....  I get some unbelievable hits... and remove golds.. or remake gold ammo....

Won't do a thing. Res_mods is just a safe way for you to remove mods if they don't work or crash your game. In the old days, we overwrote the original res folder files to make them work. And you can still do that with most mods. And other mods can be made to work like that again. 

 

Tho a few patches ago, we had one guy come in a few days late and told us how nice it was to play with no mods working as it was a patch day... Tho every mod worked just fine. His tinfoil just thought otherwise, and thus all was fine.

You do know that aim-bots can only aim for you. They can't alter dispersion or other factors to make such hits easier unlike it CS GO counter to popular belief.  So most of the hits you get that seems to be unbelievable are not even mod related, it's just RNG luck more so than not.

I keep hearing about these so called "cheat mods", but I honestly really never manage to notice if an enemy is using them.
