WG pls, stop try to sell KV5, it's just so bad that we see one of them about once / 5 k games where in tiers 8....
- outdated tank
- bad gun
- bad for platoon because preferential matchmaking
- very bad vs tiers 9, bad vs tiers 8, ok vs tiers 7, good vs tiers 6
- 6 crew members, don't match with any tiers 10 soviet tank
- ****
Do you really want new player buy it, find it so bad he will feel like you robbed his money and stop WOT ?
That's one of the reasons to explain why you lost so many players last years and WOT has so bad reputation on gaming platforms.

I would actually recommend the KV-5. It's just so fun to play and has a unique playstyle that you cannot get from any other tank. Even better in a platoon with another KV-5. It's by far my most played tank and I've managed 59% wins in it (to my overall account 55%). As indicated by negative comments here about the KV-5, the tank is highly underestimated and that allows you to suprise enemies and do some truly stupid things.
High HP and DPM allow it to trade out opponents very well, and your armour despite its weakspots can pull off many blocks and bounces especially if you are "rocking" forward and back making it hard to hit the weakspot. Know enemy weakspots and the low standard pen does work, just also learn when it is time to press that 2 key, or indeed 3 key. Learn the tanks capabilities and limits. Ram when you can because it's fun, but don't rely on it to always work. If tanks try to flank you, give up on trying to traverse your hull and turret together, many tanks can still beat you. Instead, keep driving forward and give them your back armour, angle it, and turn your turret round - the rear armour can still bounce many inexperienced players or poorly aimed shots. Learn when to push, sacrifice your HP and make that breakthrough for your team, and hope they follow you and take advantage! Learn when to take a hit and double track an enemy and simply drive to his side/rear and DPM him out, or use your massive weight to park alongside TD's and traverse into them, spinning their side armour to face your teams guns. I'd confidently take on any tier 8 tank and many tier 9 tanks in a 1v1 using the KV-5.
And it's low priced, for a tier 8 heavy! Buy it now. Just do it, you will soon like it if you play it right.
