Can you tell us if i have 5 good crews +5skills,lets say for the french tanks.Can i choose to convert some of the crews into exp for just 2 good crews for the french tech tree? 

 

Love the new crew at first sight!

If you go to near the bottom of the article there is a "converter" that will let you see what your current crews would become when converted :)

AFAIK no, but 5 crews that good could allow you to play either 15 tanks or maybe even have different "builds" for similar tanks.

So if you did Russian mediums, you could have a pure DPM build at range and then DPM but for brawling. So I'd recommend keeping any crews for things like this and just to allow you to play a wider range of your tanks.

Looks good.. But somehow overcomplicated with the new skills.. Probably just have to think over good what to do and get used to it.

I see that convertor,but i ask about if we can get the xp from 3 crews with 5 member,and put that xp into just 2 new commanders.So we can use that commanders as it is in the new system for up to 3 tanks.

 

I dont need to convert 5 crews into 5 commanders,i say to just convert 2 crews and use the others for xp for the 2 new commanders

 

PS: Snow maidens and battles pass crew will become instructors,but how about the crew members from cw shop? Female crew members and the team clash commanders,plus the 260 and 279e missions crews,or the The Last Waffenträger crew that have 3 skills and no nation,all of this crews members i have not recruited

Moreover, players will be able to train a crew to control any two researchable and Collectors' vehicles belonging to the same nation and vehicle type (yes, you read that right—crews will finally cease forgetting their vehicles!). New specializations will be unlocked gradually as the crew levels up and reaches certain levels. Players will be able to unlock these specializations faster by using gold.

 

This is it! skilled crews can be on trained on 3 vehicles - 5*

No so skilled have to pay with gold for same - still ok, can accept it!

Current special characters (Santa claus, Chuck Norris, TeamClash commander) will turn into instructors, that much is clear, but what happens to the xp they built up so far? Does that get converted to training manuals too?

Can we please also get the option to convert them into crewbooks as well? With the ability to use one crew for up to three techtree tanks some players will have quite some crews with a low number of skills that become redundant. It's punishing people that went broad rather than deep with crews otherwise.

yes if you only have a standard crew.. now the problem with a full snowmaiden crew or Santa as commander and several other zero skill trained crew like the berlin crew or my 7 skill crews that will have a skill ceiling now capped at 75 skill points.. it looks over complicated and useless

I'd guess the special crew will be replaced with a normal crew with an appropriate number of skills (3-skill crew with BiA as zero-skill will turn into a 2-skill crew for example) and the instructor will be moved to the barracks.

At least that's how I understand it.

Skills which dynamically change tank stats during the battle when certain conditions are met are a TERRIBLE idea in my opinion. At least it looks terrible on paper.

You can "improve" everything but the gameplay. Too much invisible tanks (no bush) shooting on you and not be spoted, too many misses full aiming targets, too many critical hits, too many artys in game (should be 1 per mach) and too many other problems in gameplay. But no, you gonna "improve" everything else. I am not try to be toxic, or unfair but, please, consider improve gameplay too. Thanks.

If I am not mistaken for a 7-Skill Full Santa/Snowmaiden-Crew you will get a 75-Perk-Crew with some progress in the new "Professional Expertise" and Santa/Snowmaiden as Instructors.
