Can you stack 4 trainers on the same skill to have 18 points in one skill?
16:37 Added after 3 minute
Also you need 30 points in a skill category to unlock a talent. Do instructor given skill points count towards that?

In theory, yes, but you don't have a completely free reign in what skills Trainers boost, as they come with a few templates you can choose from. But you can definitely stack them like that, yes.

No, to unlock the Talents for each category you need to spend 30 Skill Points. Trainer skill buffs are not skill points, so it doesn't qualify.

Just wanted to point out that I edited the OP So that the images are actually displayed on the forum as opposed to just being links. :hiding:

Only thing I've learned so far is that IF it goes out like this on that part. I'm gonna be moving some crew around the day before. As this is not too ideal atm.

Inc skins. As I've lost a pile of skins that were not commanders, inc all my tomatoes & lobsters.

You can swap out instructors for gold.. or wait 7 days! Instead of just letting us swap instructors for credits. Wargaming is implementing a paywall mechanic which is usually reserved for toxic mobile games

All in all good news for female crews though.

Oh noes, how dare they put microtransactions in a free to play online game whose servers costs who knows how much to run on a monthly basis.

Be happy you  have the free instructor dismissal at all. The cooldown is to prevent possible unsportsmanlike practices that will undoubtedly be possible.

Not to mention you can use your new kamandir for more than just 1 techtree/collector tank.

Thank you OP!

This is very useful information!

I personally don't mind having to wait 7 days to reassign an instructor, since I have so many to begin with anyway, I don't expect to be changing them around much.

One question: Can anyone confirm what happens with crew members who are still not recruited? This question counts for both unique crew members, and other members, like for example crew members from the Campaign missions.

I assume they will stay in the "recruits" section, and will be able to be recruited at any moment? Can anyone confirm?

Me neither, as I had 40+ of each with 1 bonus. And you won't put the others with 2 sets or that are voiced on anything else vs what you play often to even remove them.

Last time I made a thread wondering what would happen to crews consisting of only females. I have tried the new system on the sandbox server and here is what I found:

First you manually convert your female crew

Spoiler

Upon conversion, none of the 4 girls are actually 'changed' into a commander for your crew. Instead you are given a free female commander which is pretty cool.

Spoiler

The 4 girls turn into instructors, you are allowed to individually reassign them to a new nation aswell as change their certification

Spoiler

You can swap out instructors for gold.. or wait 7 days! Instead of just letting us swap instructors for credits. Wargaming is implementing a paywall mechanic which is usually reserved for toxic mobile games

All in all good news for female crews though.

in fact, terrible news.

the female crew was quite adequate before you converted it. in exchange, you got instructors that give very small bonuses and a noob crew.

so, not good news at all

Very true but Crew 2.0 redefines the meta. Since these changes apply to every player, it kinda evens out I think.

My tank will perform worse, but everyone else's will aswell.

I currently have loads of 3 skilled crews with BIA, repairs and 1 other skill which I consider perfectly adequate to play the game. Crew 2.0 just resets those crews to a half finished state which requires a load of grinding and / or gold use to get them to something I'd consider decent. The whole thing feels a little like WG have come up with a ploy to get long established players to go back to grinding out games again.

that's where you are mistaken. those who can spend gold won't be affected.

Should have happened but didn't.

5 Mirny crew are skins only. Despite having XP for 3 skills.

If your crew had 0-perks, they don't get transferred. Upon conversion, their total level will depend on the actual amount of XP they had, hence why the 0-perks weren't factored in. However, if they did have 0-perks, you will have already received instructors in their place.
