You rightly created a non-historical crewskin section ingame, so that everyone can use the image he prefers. Why is this any different with these non-standard crewmen given out in your events? The same logic and the same arguments for the ingame non-historical crewskin section still apply and apply to any crew...  

This is something I can’t quite comprehend: who cares about what the crew looks like?  It’s that sort of behaviour that resulted in WG pushing Crew Skins as a reward when they are, in fact, a totally useless and worthless piece of fluff.

 

Crew skins add absolutely nothing to the game, so why worry about them?

Nice Event.. No worries, play a bit, get some extras with a nice camo. I am up for that, the only but why do we need separate webpages for this.. We have the event page in the game missions tab? Why not simply put it there? The main reason is that I just don't like to leave my username and password on an external website from which I don't know for certain how good the security is?

There was something like this last year for building a hot-rod car, and u could get 4 2d styles for the points u earned.

Yes the BIA perk is a zero skill perk and Yuri Gagarin can only be assigned to USSR tanks.

The last official communication around Crew 2.0 was that we are reconsidering the Instructors concept based on your feedback.

I understand why some of you are concerned but the commander can be obtained by completing the missions and, as I already said, Crew 2.0 is not coming in the next few days or weeks.. Once we have more updates on that subject we will let you know but for now, you can enjoy your free commander

It sounds like the good old dear Tank Rewards but it has one extra layer of Progress the Common Progress
You earn Star Points by completing daily missions in your Personal Progress

But we do have special takmen/tankwomen skins and commanders that can be obtained in special modes (depends on the theme/celebration) and the Battle Pass commanders.

This is an official page that is linked to your WoT profile. Once you log in on our portal, you don't need to log in or enter your account info on the event landing page. Quite similar to the Tank Reward page

So obviously, you can't get all rewards without paying. And you have to buy gold/credit packages to artificially inflate the price for tokens.

 

I regret spending money at Christmas now, bc so far in 2021 WG have doubled down on being greedy and anti-customer with a lot of their "offers" and "promotions"

No, this is NOTHING like tankrewards, which was one of the few good things for some of 2020 while it was around and the grind wasn't made insane. Tank rewards didn't require you to waste money on booster points in the shop to actually get everything.

I'm actually gonna add more to my point about comparing to Tank Rewards.

 

Again, we'll ignore the few months WG made the grind too much or repeated final rewards. Overall Tank Rewards was good and it was nice to get the rewards. The reason why is simple:

 

1.  You got to pick your reward at each stage. Some stages had very different rewards, and this helped different people who needed different things
2.  Progress for rewards was not bought directly. For many, it would encourage them to play more often which would result in players spending money elsewhere such as a premium tank to grind missions, gold, and premium time. WG still makes money, players don't feel left out if they can't buy all the rewards
3. It was a regular, scheduled event (ignoring some blips), and you get plenty of time to do it.
4. The website was much easier to navigate (although choosing rewards should be available in the client), and progression was easier and choosing rewards simpler.

 

The free rewards are relatively easy to get and you can choose to some extent, but the "main progress" track you have to stick with or you cannot get the final reward, which may not be clear to players.

Is it possible to offer some references for the Moon Viewing 2D style & Intro Space! 2D style besides First Space 2D style? I checked the event webpage but found no sample pictures about these two 2D styles.
