Su85 is great.. low repair cost and u earn much with the 107mm. KV same thing with the 107mm

It depends for your playstyle. All t5 tank is good money maker, t6 makes a bit more, but there you can lose credit, and ofcourse the premium tanks. Type/Löwe/KV5. I prefer the t20 and the kv for money making.

Unless u can`t buy a premium tier 8 tanks best money maker in game is probably the KV and other tier 5-6 tanks depends on ur preferences and skill.

Best gold tank, if thats what you mean, is probably the Löwe for credit, i personally prefer the 59 tho, as i find it more fun to play, but easier to make credits with Löwe

KV with 107mm= great, allways win some, my record is 15k (without repair/shells costs included, make it 12k)
KV3 with 107mm= The same, but if u are good placed by the MM, my record is 25k (make it 20k), BUT, if the battle goes horrible, u can loose credits with it.

All tier 5 TDs seem to make much money. Especially the stug 3 is favoured as a money maker by many players, but i think its the same for every tier 5 TD.
Also as already said above, the KV 107mm is a good money maker due to high damage but low costs. With prem it isnt hard to make 15k-30k credits (repair and ammo costs already subtracted). According to wotdb.info, the pz4 should also be a good choice, it has the same credit gain rate as the KV (99%, Su85 has got 100% for example).
Third option is to buy a prem tank

I currently have a StuG III, which is a good moneymaker, and I´m thinking on going down the TD line, till the JagdPanther at least. But I need credits...it's a good idea to buy a KV to farm credits along with the Stug, or it's just a waste of resources? What you guys think?

The obvious choices are Löwe and that chinese tank, but considering that if you're not a walletwarrior I think the list probably is as follows.
AMX 12t without a doubt is the best tank for money making.
You can make fast matches with decent results easily, as this tank is a decent scout and it's revolver loader allows your kamikaze runs score more than 1 hit.
As long as your team sees the position of the enemies you're useful.
This tank will generate easy money for you as it is effortless to keep on background.
Has low repair bill.
Second best money maker I'd say is M4A2E4, but you can't get that anymore if you were not in closed beta with 1000 battles behind you. God tier money making once crew hits 100%. Very easy to get 3+ kills in very short time as you're pretty much always on the top of the food chain.

Third probably M4 sherman as it's basically an upgunned version of the above, but it's slightly weaker in terms of hp.
God tier money making once your crew hits 100%. Similiar performance to above, but you need to abandon facehug tactics.
Fourth I'd probably go with T-34 as it eats KVs alive with it's rapid firing gun and has decent speed.
There is also the Stug, which I've yet to try since it's been buffed, but that seems fairly good.

Main thing is that you DO NOT want a slow moving money maker.
KV is good in individual battles, but if you can have 3-4 tanks on the battle by the time you've ended your match with KV it's not very productive. Also KV has costly ammo, meaning it's profit is not as high as you'd like. It's a brutally unfair tank, but as a money maker it should be the one you use when all your other tanks are on field.
There are 3 things you mainly want to pay attention basically in this order.
1. Speed as the more tanks you have on battle at same time means the higher credit income you get.
2. Gun as damage = profit.
3. Health/Front armor, since Tank that can exploit facehug tactics is an excellent money maker as it scouts and does good damage.

I prefer the kv with derp, because it doesnt matter how bad the mm screws you it still makes decent money and when the mm is in your favor....

The tier 5-7 that you feel comfortable in, and that you can do the most damage with on average.
