Hey guys. So, I got a problem with my game.
I have Windows Last XP and my game just doesn't want to start.
The problem is that when I got Windows XP Professional the game worked perfectly.

Every time I try to open the game I press PLAY on the launcher and nothing happens.
This is the same exact issue, only the OS is different: video of what I'm talking about.

Please guys help me out, I really enjoy playing WoT and I just can't work with a simple Windows XP like the Professional version. Last XP is my best choice and I'm now waiting for some kind of magical fix so I can play again.

Cheers, ~Andy.

Already tried the obvious things? Re-downloaded? Re-installed? Already tried the other .exe (that starts the game directly, without launcher)?

Maybe you should use a real Windows XP instead of a pirated and modded version.

I did, it doesn't start off.

I don't exactly know what the problem is, but if I use a real XP I get an annoying internet connection error, and some softwares like Skype are getting blocked by it. I didn't manage to solve anything so I switched to this.

Any other suggestions?

Try to update your graphics drivers and install the latest version of .NET Framework too. Worked for me..

Guess what, didn't work...
Is it a bad idea to switch to Vista?

Windows Vista = Windows ME, same level of fail. Better go straight for Windows 7, if your system is fast enough.

I had the same problem when after pressing PLAY nothing happend.
The solutions for me was to reinstall DirectX.
Latest version of DirectX, Microsoft's official site:
http://www.microsoft...91-50ceb6d8fa8d

I solved this mainly by reading the official WOT Knowledgebase Technical issues on this link:
https://support.worl...echnical-issues

There is link to "Errors when launching game client":
https://support.worl...ing-game-client

I advice any of you who will have the same problem in the future to read above article "Errors when launching game client". There is some advices which programs step by step should you reinstall or check.
