No SPG Missions. LOL. Again, another obstacle for (NERF) for SPG players. Why? Is it too hard to come up with missions... or is the possibility of having them in the game too much of a threat (even with the previous nerfs) that it will swamp those who dislike the class?

 

No. It is SIMPLY because SPG's do not create revenue for WG (other than the players of other classes now can purchase equipment to render themselves virtually immune to damage by SPG's).

Why don't you simply remove SPG's from the game if you don't want players to play them.... SHEESH...

On the contrary, mate...

 

there are enough SPG "players" as it is (constant 3 per game spam is proof enough)

these missions should promote more gameplay for some rewards

there are people who, solely because of the rewards, will play tanks they normally wouldnt - including your beloved SPG class

do we want more games with 3 SPGs and 5 light tanks on both sides? i dont think so

 

so besides no missions (or extremely short/easy ones) for SPGs, i would recommend doing something similar for light tanks

next step is adjustment of personal campaign missions, so people do not spend 100 games in SPGs to get the ideal setup for one mission (and then not making it because of their 2 arty colleagues who are after the same goal)

 

and if everything goes well, your SPG queue will be tiny and you might be the only one ruining other peoples fun  having fun in your SPG :)

isnt the future bright?

This repeated 4 from 5 tank types 'special' is tacit admission that you fouled your game with underdeveloped arty and don't have the stones to correct your mistake.

I wonder why is it always the shitty arty players who always play OP arties

(first qoute : 1700 battles in the tier V arta Bishop , 750 in the LefH ;  second qoute: 1300 battles in the GWPanther/M55 53 ; 300 in the LefH) 

are the ones crying when their beloved arties dont get some random stuff?

 

This tank academy event and top of the tree events are for people grinding tanks. I dont think you will need that 1,5k XP in your arta when you already played 500+ games in it ;) 

 

 (For disclosure: I also play arties. Arties are OP. It is good that they got nerfed hard and have 3 types of ammo. They still are too powerful in certain situations. 2 arty per game shuold be the standard.)

so light tank players population dropped THAT much that u pulled something that will force playerbase to play with lights? XD what happened? all play heavies hull down after patch?

What happened to the customizations elements ? It was the sole reason I completed some challenges the last time you made these missions available. I don't care about boosters, I don't care about consumables, I don't care about haveing 2% better equipment either, I just want pretty things to go on my tanks, and I'm often willing to pay for these instead of paying for the new OP premium tank of the moment... WG making fewer interesting customization elements is kinda sad, because it's the healthier way of monetizing the game yet they're not even exploiting it smh...

That is a lie...there aren't 3 artys in every battle and you know it.  Stop lying.

TBF Since the *Nerf* (sorry, the last carefully planned "rebalance" ;).... I've noticed a LOT more 3 arty per side games.   So, the rebalance working as intended then... ;) 

 

Personally, I'd prefer 1-2 max a side, perhaps even 0 (if it's a close city map like Himmelsdorf, especially at tier 7+)...  as for queue times, I'm all for waiting a bit longer IF the MM was better balanced,  But until then, they need to sort out how reserves work, because the increase in time spent waiting is yet another "nerf" for SPG players and their ability to train crews.. gain xp etc.

Oh I agree, 1-2 arties per side would be great. Having just 1 ammo type would be just as great (Basically what we ened up with). ALL tanks can be too powerful in certain situations..        And playing a variety of vehicles, well.. your quote assumes I play ONLY "OP" arty. Try again. Hardy representative, I play, more or less all the vehicle classes to much the same degree. I've researched and grinded for ALL the historically-based  vehicles that WG have introduced... and some paper ones as well. Except "Objects". I have my standards. ;)

There probably has been more people playing arty since the "rebalance" this week.  They are curious and want to experience the changes.  That is always true for any major change.   I would be happy with me being the only arty on my team....so one per team is fine with me. Three is definitely too many and like I said, one is optimum in my opinion.

No artillery mission/diploma.... seems about right if you want to hide the results of the SPG/HE debacle
