Before to play this tank -bought with bonds-, I need to know how is this tank. If the result is negative, I'm going to make the return.

Equipment suggestions?

Any tips?

Thanks.

How are you going to return it ?

On a sidenote, it's good, but not worth bonds ... you can get it from referral for free.

It can be very good, but also can be very mediocre imho.

The main issue is the big cupola weakspot, and I guess the lackluster 300 alpha.

Avoid playing hulldown, since people will just shoot your cupola.

In cities it plays a lot better where you can lure people to shoot at your very strong hull. It can be an absolute beast in those scenarios.

As for equipment, I'd probably just go for the standard Rammer, Stabs, Optics layout.

But if there's anything about the tank's stats that will bother you, you can always switch out anything you like imho.

The cupola is indeed a weak spot and can be a prob in CQC. But dont worry, it isnt as bad as some people try to make it. As any exerienced player knows hitting a small cupola isnt that easy - and it gets harder the larger the shooting distance is.

Is the Liberte one of the best prem tanks around? No. But it is a solid heavy - definately no "trash". And among the bond tanks it is one of the better ones.

In regards to equipment there are now various options with equip 2.0. No "best setup". One exception: VStab is one of the few parts I would consider a must. It is just too good to leave behind.

Average

VStabs, Rammer and depending on the crew you have vents, turbo or optics (I would go with the later but I have halfway decent crews to use from AMX 50 100 and AMX50b).

Rental version without equipments were good.

Bond version with better crew and fully equipped is trash.

Its a very good tank. Strong frontal armor.
But i suggest you to get it for free with referral program and save your bonds for something better i.e. Concept 1B.

A bigger issue is the dogshit gun handling. I can accept bad handing when you have alpha but not here.

It can not side scrape because you then show flat surfaces on the upper hull straight to the enemy. Learned this the hard way when I played a few games in a rental (git it for a bonus code).

I only played 5 battles, armor did not work for me.

Well, to be more subjective, since you're asking about Bond Shop Vehicles,

if one was to rate the TIER 8 premiums it has to offer, I think it would be kinda like this:

1st) KV-4 Kreslavskiy

2nd) T26E5 Patriot

3rd) AMX M4 Liberte

4th) STG Guard

- The KV-4 Kres and the Guard have received recent buffs.

- The Patriot is good at Hull Down playstyle and perma-tracking, it is a HT played more like a MT (Heavium).

- The Liberte ain't a bad HT, it has strong frontal armor and is good at defending positions with a decent gun.

You won't find Great or OP Tanks in the Bond Shop, just good or playable ones.

So choose according to your play-style and what you need most.

It's useful asking for other players opinion, but if you don't play it yourself, you'll never know.

Several times I've enjoyed playing vehicles that other players don't prefer, it's all a matter of personal preference.

I had this exact choice to make too and I chose the AMX Liberté (see my topic here: http://forum.worldof...lable-for-bonds )

I have played 30 or so battles with the Liberté and my verdict so far is that it is a solid tank and it makes ok credits.

it has solid frontal armor and can work wall corners head first (no sidescraping due to weak hull cheeks). the best is obviously to have the wall on your right so you can hide the cupola behind it.

the gun is surprisingly good despite the rather unimpressive soft stats shown on tanks.gg

the other contender in my choice was the Patriot. the Liberté's advantage over patriot is frontal hull armor, which allows it to work in more situations than the Patriot, when there is nowhere to go hull down.

the Liberté's relatively large cupola is a problem at short ranges.

many less experienced enemies get caught out shooting at the Liberté's angled LFP and are rewarded with ricochets.

when top tier, the Liberté can bully any lone enemy tank (light, med, heavy) by driving straight at it, their only hope is to score cupola hits.

I do not regret my purchase.

- Really good frontal armour.

- Very good penetration.

- Average DPM.

- Can't side scrape very well (depending on the opponent of course).

- The cupola is a weak spot and quite large. If the cupola gets hit with pretty much any standard ammo, its getting penned and most players know this.

Vents, VStabs and rammer on mine.
