Oh it's authentic allright, thats the American tsunami bomb. Dropped over a body of water this bomb would cause a tsunami destroying everything in it's path.

The Russians developed a similar weapon, known as the Tsunamibomb MKII. The Russian version no longer needed to be droped from an aircraft. It was shot of from a position on the shore.
Due to the unexplaned hairyness of the russian bomb it was seen as the male version of the American tsunami bomb.
