Just use them as Decals and stick them as emblems with "paint.net on to the tank.

It may be down to the numbering of the tanks in the relevant .pkg files as all the tanks you want are numbered 00.

Try this

Is there any way to export tanks as a single obj model? (for 3d printing, for example)

Was the directory that you were trying to make already in re_mods?

Is there anybody out there who wants to revive the Tank Viewer to a "new life" ?

Because, as "rextimmy" the developer of this fine tool, has now definetely stopped all support for the Viewer and declared his official dead, we can only use for now the more and more buggy version of 1.0.17 !

If I would be a modder, I would take of the 1.0.17 version and rework a new full 0.9.7 and all further versions  Tank Viewer for all of us. But sadly, I am only a little Skinner, nothing more.

I have had a look at the US Forum site of the Tank Viewer where rextimmy has posted his final statement to the end of the viewer.

A US user had the idea that someone could overtake reytimmys work, but he had been flamed for that :facepalm:

Obviously nobody in the US Forum has any interest to overtake the work to revive the Viewer, so I ask you again here, if there is a modder who is able and willing to do so.

I suppose that it is possible to rework the 1.0.17 Version data for a updated Version with full HD support and no buggy tracks.................

Anybody there..........???????

Agreed. Without Tankviewer, it seems impossible to check up created skins..

FIX FOR THE TANK VIEWER WITH 0.9.7  !!!

Hellow fellow tankers,

thx for the US User  "arasgrandpa" who has posted a fix for the "Tank Viewer" with 0.9.7. Everyone who has tried out to use the Viewer with 0.9.7 CT has noticed that the Viewer crashed !!

The only thing you have to do is the following:

Go into the the Viewer directory and open the  "resources.cfg" file with "Notepad++" and change the lines as follows:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Resources>
<Zip>vehicles_japan.pkg</Zip>
<Zip>vehicles_american_hd.pkg</Zip>
<Zip>vehicles_american.pkg</Zip>
<Zip>vehicles_british_hd.pkg</Zip>
<Zip>vehicles_british.pkg</Zip>
<Zip>vehicles_chinese.pkg</Zip>
<Zip>vehicles_french.pkg</Zip>
<Zip>vehicles_german_hd.pkg</Zip>
<Zip>vehicles_german.pkg</Zip>
<Zip>vehicles_german_1.pkg</Zip>
<Zip>vehicles_russian_hd.pkg</Zip>
<Zip>vehicles_russian.pkg</Zip>
<Zip>vehicles_russian_1.pkg</Zip>
<Zip>shared_content.pkg</Zip>
</Resources>

Save the new file and everything should work fine.

Be sure that you delete the "settings.cfg" with which the Viewer crashed and start the Viewer again and make new settings when you are asked for.

THX again to "Arasgrandpa" who has given us this nice fix.

Strangely enough, I haven't had any problems with WoT Viewer and 9.7CT.
