I have put Camo and Binos on my AMX 13 90. The Binos is worth it because it gives you the full 500m viewing rage. Don't get the optics though, since you wouldn't be using that extra viewing range while on the move.

I haven't got anything else because I am too broke for it  :Smile_mellow:

Dude - the binocs only work when you are not moving while the optics are permanently on ...

Yep, I switched from Binocs to Optics and over all it works much better.

The best setup which I used both on AMX 13 75 and 90 is vents-GLD-optics. I don't really need a camonet, as my crew is trained in camo, GLD reduces aim time which is crucial when shooting an autoloading gun and vents are cheap and improve everything - aim time, view range, drum reload etc. Optics are obvious as with 390/400 m view range AMX 13s are great spotters (more like Chaffee than T-50-2 of course).

pretty much the same as above.
if i stop i die. that's my way of playing this tank. so binos would be useless.
but then again to each its own.

Just why can't they put vert.stab on it? It's a Tier 8 tank after all.

I play my AMX with tripple gun rammer for no reload time, best setup IMHO.

EDIT: obvious joke is to hard to recognize, all you had to do is to scroll 1 post down or just use 1 cell brain but oh well..expecting to much as usual..

But if seriously I can't hink of overall better setup than:
1) vent
2) coated optics
3) GLD

You don't need camo net at all since your base camo is great and it takes effect after you stopped hull movement for 3 seconds, which you usualy do behind a bush which gives you 100% camo anyway. Binos are OK, but vent+optics are good enough for me also optics are more of a use, since most often you benefit from higher view range being on the move anway.

i must admit im not that great in the 1390 but my modules are bases on survivability
1. Vents (speaks for itself)
2. Small spall liner (u will get chased my many arty shots for example in a TC + u will most likely encounter other scouts like a 1390 so u can ram and and perhaps track it making it a sitting duck as a last resort while reloading for example)
3.Enhanced torsion bars (makes your tracks stronger so u wont be easily tracked by a hit and as main reason : Physics, got it also on my T-50-2)

this is just my setup, the other one with vent, optics and Gld is the main choice for the ones that are pro in their 1390 i think

I was using torsion bars on my t-50 earlier, well the 30% more hit points is what makes it better, and with new bumby grounds it could be an option, also I would never give up vent AND optics on it, and GLD is a must with your awfully aim time, but as always matter of preference.

I would really know why T71 can have Vertical Stablizer Mk1 and AMX13 can't . When we asked why 13/90 couldn't have V-Stab when becoming T8 the answer was "turret is too small to fit a v-stab you know" . Ok, That's not like the oscliating turret wasn't a V-Stab itself... Oh wait!    But ok, ok, turret is too small. And since 0.8.2 what can we see? A little bug T7 with oscilating turret and who can fit... V-stab. The T71. So i would be really interrested by the bullshit that Wargaming "experts" could answer to justify that.  :Smile-bajan2:
