Got one round more this sh...  the lowest Tank on the Enemy was Tier IV Arty 2 times ...and goes up to tier 10 ...

Wat i do there with a Tier 5 Chaffee ? ... Starving vs an Type 59 because they are fast enogh to get me .

Change something ... 2-3 Tier´s up and down maybe its ok but not 4-5 and 6 .

So can someone please explain to me where in this match was the so called "balance"?
In the last 2 months I only got matches like this, which were lost before they really started.


And please stop arguing like: "The tiers are balanced if you look on the whole team"
No there was totaly no balance, because u can't balance Meds against Heavis or TD's....

Playing this game is not fun anymore...


P.S. If you found the balance, please tell me your magic trick o.O

Hm... I never expected, that I would say this, but they really improved the matchmaker.

Of course by reducing the (battle)tier spread for most of the tanks (some, such as some premiums remain untouched), the genius devs from WG just do, what the playerbase suggested since closed beta times in 2010, but okay, after nearly two years we got it.

So, this should not be all about sarcasm, I think this is the right way and perhaps they listen more to us and start to improve the other flaws of the matchmaker. So far, a good improvement for tanks of the tiers 4-7, tier 8 now facing more often hier tier enemies, the T9 meds now have a harder matchmaking (and Patton and E50 got nerfed...T54 buffed... lol), we will see, how this will work.

Still to do (since 2010):
- avoid great stacking of certain tanks
- avoid the reign of arty parties
- improve the scouts (sometimes, u have scouts and one side, the other has none)
- avoid to great numbers of TDs vs. MDs only, or just MDs vs. HVs, and so on...
- the matchmaker has to learn a lot about the great new gamemode, called assault...

What he said.
- 2-3 batchats or t95 vs none on the other side == rape
- 4-5 arties per side = boring, embarrassing for everyone. I play arty and would prefer waiting longer, so that each battle only has 2-3 arties max.

Plus, but it's a dream really: the game should try to balance the players' efficiency...

Those tanks are scouts, lol. Tier 5 scouts that can be out spotted by tier 9 heavies. BOOM! ONESHOT!!!

YES it does.
Look at the new, published MM table and you'll see that those french light tanks have a matchmaking including Tier 9 tanks.

Well.. your skill should´ve been to recognize that you are not the top gun in this game and that you are dead when (and/or applies) alone/without backup/without camo.
Calling a stronger tank player brain dead because he exploits your failure wont get you very far.
It´s actually one of his jobs to hunt down as many weaker tanks as he possibly can.

The sort of balance you want would end in 15 vs 15 same tanks with same crew skill and same equipment.
If you want that - play CWs, its common standard there due to the limited abilities of the game to strengthen out the role of different vehicle classes.
Even though the T10 TDs/Meds might just change that, but that remains to be seen.

Superiority on the battlefield is more than just firepower.

I'm relatively new to WoT, love the game but find the matchmaker awfully frustrating.  An SU85 tier 5 TD should not be up against Tier 8 T34's.  My shells bounce off, their shells kill me in one shot.  There's no fun in this and without fun what's the point in paying a fee?

Please reduce the tier spread to +1 and give folk like me the fun that's there to be had when you get a good match up at lower tier levels.

Reworked Match-Making for the majority of vehicles. Now players won't normally see vehicles of more than two tiers difference to the tier of their own vehicle...

Well no real changing ...

Tier 4 and 5 Arty / Scout vs Tier 8-9 Tanks ... its the same like before .
Maybe there are less low level Med´s and Heavys in the Game than .
One more point that the small Scouts are one hit wonders .

And no thats not fun to hide as an Scout and do nothing ... Just speeding wount help because there are enogh high Tier tanks who easely shot us down .

Remember your own Advice " In higher Tiers Medium´s become the scouts " ... maybe its about Tier 12 and 15 ?

There were not many light tanks in games before, there will be even fewer from now on, and those will be brain dead players who will rush to death in first 30 seconds of the game just to end it faster, because being the only tier 5-6 tank surrounded only by tier 9 and 10 enemies is no fun.We like to harass the enemy tanks, maybe even focus on a low HP tier 7-8 heavy to finish it off , before continuing your run.I understand that developers intend scouts to be scouts and not fighting machines, but then make them scouts, not blind bats who run aimlessly thrugh enemy teritory.A scout should have superior view range to any vehicle around, so he may have a chance to survive.THere is really no fun if you have to get that close so entire enemy team will see you to actually spot anything.I have some Boelter medals on my Chafee/Vk2801 and im quite proud of them.Are they posiible since yesterday? Not likely, when the entire enemy team is tier 9 and 10 in more than half of the games you get into. I stopped playing my scouts since yesterday, and i honestly hope every skilled light tank player who doesnt just rush to death at start of battle will do the same, until you figure out this change is wrong and start treating us light tank players same as every other tier 5-6 tanks players and put us in games where we have opposition which we can actually destroy.

Throwing AMX 12t versus tiers 9 and 10 is just ridiculous. Same story for ELC AMX. I'm tired of being oneshotted every time

And the number of times they missed before that one shot that hit you?
The ECL is fine and with the new radio i think the AMX 12 is fine as well (cannot comment on 13 75/90)

Other than the french above i am verry happy with the MM of my M6, Panther 2, T-54, M18. IS-3 leaves something to be desired but im top tank a lot since patch so that balances out.

Light tanks and arty never fitted in those vehicle tiers and never were comparable to other vehicles same tier. They were always to strong and needed more XP to grind (arty). This was balanced by matchmaking and it still works like it is intended.

If you want to make them comparable you have to lift up every light / arty bigger than tier 4 for minimum of 2 tier (so todays tier 6 arty becomes tier 8 arty WITHOUT compensation of modules besides little more HP).

You don't really want todays tier 6 artys in tier 4-8 vehicle tierrange for battle with HE damage of 1850 (S-51) I guess.
To me this is OK cause arty needs a lot more XP to grind and light tanks (scout tanks) are giving the options to drive a tanks capable of joining tier 8-10 matc hes without leveling that long. They are therefore made difficult to drive and not big damage dealers (scout supporter).
But how really wants to drive the scouting way up to a comparable tier 8 tank?

So to me the general idea of the matchmaking for arty + scouts is OK. ELC is capable of flanking tier 9 tanks and do a hit. But it's not meant to be the killer of tier 9 tanks. Lights are simply not easy mode to drive. But you can join your high tier buddies without grinding ages whith using them.
