What names do you want for the British tank crews?

I'll start with a few Scottish Names,
First Names: Ruairidh, Siobhan Last names, Mac Niel, Duncan, Mc Donald,Mac Askill

Any ideas?

In my experience Scots are mostly called Alex and Ian, with many Colin and John as well. Very few Siobhan's in the RAC.

Strange thing is although hard pressed at the drop of hat to give a British name that isn't someone I known, I can tell from a film credits whether the crew are British or American in origin. I think its mostly in the forenames.

Alex, Ian and Iain*

I'd really disagree, typical surnames are important.. there's hundreds of typical names to chose from although probably all fall in the 200 most common, "Bell, Harris, Cooper, Griffiths, Foster, Moore, Anderson, Stewart, McKenzie, Watson, Henderson, Shaw" to name a dozen so there probably wont be an issue there.

I want a Sherman Firefly with Joe Ekins as the Gunner. Look him up...I listened to his audio testimony at Bovington.

Another combination I would like is:
First Name: Willy
Second Name: Eckerslike

See you that name, and raise you a Sgt Harris (TC) and Trooper MacKillop (Gunner). So Much for the awesomeness of a Panther! (Scroll down a bit).

I'd pay gold to get that combination... but never as the commander, always the loader or gunner (shame we aren't going to have many tanks with radio operators)

I am Scottish, not many Ian's and it is usually spelt Iain in Scotland. As for Alex i think we need a Salmond as a second name.
