[Post edited - Personal attacks/ Feji]. Even wiht a bad radio, a bad view range, you can go scout! Sur!!!
http://worldoftanks....ance/amx_13_90/
http://worldoftanks....ance/amx_13_75/
http://worldoftanks....france/amx_12t/

They got more view range than a radio rang, sur they can scout for arty. X')

They are "Light" tank yes. But "scout"? No.

COntrary to a T-50 or a Leopard. The AMX's are not here for spot the ennemy and do passive/active scout. They are here for fight, bring help to everyone who need them, and use there speed to relocated at another front.

I don't know what game you play, but 460m view range and 850m radio range is very good.
The AMX 13 make good scouts when the need arise. Suicide scouting and passive scouting are a waste of an AMX. I won't even mention arty hunting at the beginning of the game.
But active scouting with a quick run over a hill is always a good idea. That provides info to your team, but that also allows you to better assess who's fighting who and when to go in for the kill.

The AMX's can do active scouting, but they are not "created" for that ingame. ;) A type 59 can do "active scout" too, like an Pershing or a T-44.

What AMX 13 75 90 really is an assassin, a harasser or a flanker. It's speed is not for scouting, it is just for being able to getting to positions quickly so you could piss off that lonely Jadgtiger hiding in the bush, or finish off that E75 who's sitting in a spot that can't be reached by Arty.

^^Fixed that for you

If your in the bottom half of the team the game thinks you'r a scout and you are, but you are more than that you have teeth.
scout wisely and if you find a soft target on your travles kill it.

38nA is all so classed as a scout, now he really can complain about things.

Less radio range than than view range the only exception is the AMX 13 75 who got... WHOA! 10 METER ON MORE THAN THE VIEW RANG! SO CLOSED THAN A 800 RADIO RANGE, go back to school kid. And tell all the information before speak. :)

How's your 10 ban's you get on your useless troll thread? :)

facepalm....

you do know they get teh max french radio from the AMX13 75 onwards with 850 signal range... so they can actually scout and report everything while you know... reloading and relocating.

and AMX is a multi role tank, it can scout but it can also flank and kill stuff.

it's basicly a medium tank with less hp and armor but better viewrange and smaller profile.

a "scout" is a guy who is on the game for spotting all the ennemyu, and tell the position to everybody. People like the arty for example.

How can you spot guy for arty if you've got not enought radio range huh? The problem is solved if the arty got the best radio, but if it's not the case; You are screw both.
Did you ever consider to buy an better radio, for your tanks?
I'm asking , because if you did not, you do not contribute all of you abilities to team success.
The problem of to few credits to do so may be solved for you, but not for the rest of the team.

What was your XP/DMG ratio again? ;)

Never need to buy radio for AMX 13 75 or AMX 13 90 since I haven't buy theme yet. I go for the T95 and the Jadtiger. And since the gameplay is the same with all the AMX 12/13. (except for the reload time).

Actually the best method for AMX-12/13 series (atleast for my temperament) is using them as tank destroyers - get to firing position, turn on cloaking field, wait for a big enemy to show his side to you, unload magasine and get out. Not "fast and furious" scout, but rather "observe them silently, do damage and run away" scout.

Maybe the problem here is definition of "scout", same as definition of "heavy"?

EDIT: And please, gentlemen, cut out the personal attacks. On all sides. Thank you.
