I adore my Tetrarch, i love playing it and trolling minimaus with my awesome penetration gun
The only things i would change are the repeated deaths of my commander, and its horrendous accuracy on the move

Love this little tin box, great fun, eats micro maus for breakfast (get called a "gold firing noob" by them all the time :Smile_trollface-3: ) got me 7 topgun's in a row.
needs more ammo though and maybe a faster aim time, all the same it's a keeper

If only they'ld fitted it with a Vickers "S" gun.

The problem is I'm still not too sure how I should play the Tetrarch, as a sniper?

Vents, GLD, Coated Optics.

Flank and snipe, but learn to relocate after shooting.
This tank has use terrain pretty well.
Try to avoid getting into 'circling' battles with faster tanks, such as the BT-2.

Wish I actually got a Tetrarch when I entered the new year code.

I actually sold my Tetrarch after giving it a few spins (14, to be exact). It was like driving my T2 LT, only slower, less agile, and with a better performing, but less fun, cannon.

Does anyone else own both of these tanks? Was I too quick to sell the Tetrarch?

T2 LT is alot more fun. Tetrarch is too clumsy for my taste.

For me Tetrarch performs best as a sniper. Mount some binocs and fire away. If the enemy starts aiming at you, back off instead of standing there and taking the shots. On Himmelsdorf I use it's speed to do hit and run attacks, flanking enemies while they are busy fighting someone else or appearing behind them as they advance down the streets and disappearing again before they have to time to react. Can be rather fun sometimes.

i have played both (i used my friend's T2 LT)
and i found the LT to be a better scout
but i personnally enjoyed the Tetrarch more (and still have it)

The Tetrarach is an incredibly fun tank and is surprisingly effective if played as a tier II Hellcat/T49. I think it fits the role of TD far better than scout as it tends to get raped pretty hard by the autoguns (espescially the Pz II as their top gun can get you in one volley if they are lucky).

Ha ha Kazomir, I have had the same situation multiple times... Me killing the vast majority of the enemy team and only one %$#@ tier I tank shoots me and I got killed and due to an AFK teammember or a total noob, we loose the game.

But anyway, love the Tetrarch and indeed, I refuse to sell it. (but that's the same with my BT-2 and PzIII.

Agreed on the flanking, but I would advice against sniping with the Tetrarch. Overall accuracy and aiming time are very poor. Basic accuracy is not too bad though and the Tetrarch fires well on the move. In general I'd suggest you keep moving. In the lowest tier battles it can be played a bit more conservatively. Remember that your Tetrarch doesn't just look like a baby Tiger(H): like the Tiger(H) the Tetrarch can use its pure box shape to bounce quite a few shots when positioned in "Mahlzeitstellung".

Today when platooning with my brother, he readyed his T29, which was troll move because I had no available tank to match it for decent MM. So, I trolled back by selecting my Tetrarch. MM turned out quite nice actually (lol, for the T29 at least).

Too bad the score sheet doesn't show module damage, otherwise that Ferdi I tracked at point blank range would have been listed too :Smile_trollface-3:

The Tetrarch lacks traverse speed and armor, IMO.

tet is a born sniper, or was in 7.5 have not played it much in 8.0, the shot always traveled in the top quarter of the aim circle often in a direct line above center, one you know how to judge the shot you can hit anything at any range on any map you play on, I am always sniping on province from bottom left corner to top right or vice versa. ofc it is a crime to camp with a tet like a TD tet is a scout sniper and raider.

I was such a nobber. I got it, had so much fun with it.  Then sold it because I'm a retard...  now I want it back.  Will they ever bring it back as a special to buy you think?  :Smile_sad:
