It just came to me as a silly idea, so I did this briefly:

FerdinandsSongtext:
Not dashing and daring,
Courageless, not caring,
Painful, unfriendly,

With artys to spare.
All through the forest,
They hide behind bushes,
sneaking along,
As the shells fills the air.

CHORUS:
Ferdinands,
Bouncing shots from almost everywhere.
Armor plating, that’s beyond compare,
They are the Ferdinands.

Tragic and hystery,
Are part of their history,
Along with the secret,
Of useless arty defence.
The legend is ranting:
They take pride in camping,

They'll fight not quite right,
In whatever they do.

CHORUS

(Repeat first verse)

CHORUS

Ferdinands,
When the team’s in danger they are never there,
Funny stories that we all can share,

They are the Ferdinands,
They are the Ferdinands,
They are the Ferdinands!

There's a melody for it out there too and anybody who found out, what original I nicked for the rip-off gets 100 red Stalin-points and as many KV-5's as they can carry in one hand..

The chorus is particularly fitting IMO

Any clues for the melody? Maybe genre or something?
