POPULAR

Sorry but I think you just took 20 random ones, some of them are really childishly stupid with no sense at all and not related to the topic.

I think that a lot of the poems seem nice, some of them are better than others, some are simple but peechykeen but I'd go with №3, №4, №18

16th FTW!!! When i saw that "artillery pounding" i immediately thought of Sabaton's song Screaming Eagles. Also, the rest of the poem is very good. Good job! :Smile_great:

Third is also good, sadly forgot to vote for it. Count my vote!
Second is good too.

So it appears John Cooper Clarke deffinately does not play tanks  B)

I guess that this half hearted attempt at celebrating international womans day reflects the attitude of those running it, not those who participated!!

I know far better poems were entered, no doubt some humble "goffer" had the job of reading and selecting the 20 best, but no one at WG is really interested in recognising Women or the arts as this does not produce a upsurge gold income.

If I was a female I would be laughing at the immature unprofessional machismo of those responsible and go and play LoL.

I am laughing at them really, muppets are funny after all :P

Vote for 15! Pappa needs a new KV-5 :D

Just in case anyone misses it, the poem is supposed to be a riff on this Shakespeare sonnet. It was kind of designed to work with both poems side-by-side.

Thnx in advance to anyone who votes for my poem :)

To be honest I was sure mine will win:

Quote

Valentines are green
Lorraine is blue
I do not own a Matilda
Tits

That was an honest haiku entry! Not a troll! And I know some players will prefer this one over some gibberish!

Edit: I know it seems infantile and foolish, but at least it is fun to read.

Holy crap that's hilarious!

I have seen so much great poems in our clan!

But i don't see anyone of them in here?!

You said you would take the 20 best ones, but what i see here is a bunch of random poems!

For that you needed almost 2 weeks?!

For god's sake I will never again participate in such a silly contest, in which you need only luck !

best negative regards!

I suppose that this is a bit unfair, cause many are not even reading the last ones...
If rearrange the order votes will spread differently.

Why not we can do it random, the same way jury picked them.

Did the judge actually understand English ? One or two of them are alright, but some of them are utter drivel and make no sense.

How many poems did you receive ?
How many judges were there ?
Did all judges read all entries ?

I suspect your method of selection was hopelessly flawed and it does nothing for WG's credibility.

Agreed. Plus I hate all the "Spoiler" clicking. IMHO they should all be entered as a simple text, each one in a specific post and the voting could be done through + and - reps.
