Accuracy back to original value is great and i don't ask for a better RoF. That would mean much, but what brings me down is the aiming time. t was already the worst part of the gun and now it's really too much. small difference make big problems in the field.
As someone said about T30: "we should benefit from a little gift because of the poor tank we've been forced to grind". Except this i feel fine for it and i'm glad to see such earnings....

It has the best penetration and best damage of all tier 8 heavies and it's a premium moneymaker ... of course they'll give it some epic disadvantages, too.

You mean, drop it down one tier and only nerf its RoF ?! (and health ofc)
Also, the Lowe is super-balanced against current tier 8 heavies, WG did a good job there.

Sure its gameplay stats go down but its big "W"; (credit earning coefficent value) goes up.
I'll take that trade off.

Since the T30 is going to be classified as a TD, I wouldn't be surprised, if the T34 would be the first premium "TD". With the lowered turret traverse and the "buffed" accuracy it would surely suit into that role.

good point, it's hardly a front line tank.. but it will for sure be a heavy and not a TD at least officially. Similarly to M103 which should be really classed as a tier 9 medium... I really don't understand WG.. it doesn't take a military expert to realize that m103 is not a heavy tank.. I think it even has less armour than Patton..
and no turret armour either.
Sometimes I wonder, how would WoT life have been had i chosen to play the Russian tree all those months ago.. Getting constant buffs, medals, credits, good WR... Maybe still time to switch.

You don't need anything more. That's what the T29 has and it's the best tier 7.
And that's the only US tank that is best in its tier, any class. Can You think of anyone else?
The t29 is very good, that is why t32, t34 are such dissapointments, because they are practically the same tank only in higher tiers..
nerfing the t34 is not necessary imho other than decreasing hp pool. Any tier6 and above can easily penetrate it from any angle.

it has quite a bit more armor than the M46 patton. Also the M26 Pershing was originally a heavy tank too

They need to make it as good at this or they can forget about people buying it in the future. Or they can just nerf the hell out of it, nice move from WG removing the Type from the store so they can sell a tank 4500 gold more expensive, nerfed to hell and less fun to play. Oh, you thought they did it to appease the community because they care about our opinion? Let's not kid ourselves...

Whatever the T34 is, I like it... good gun, premium, enough for me

Of course they nerfed it. The last test it was better than the other tier 8 heavyes.
But have no worries its still good.

I seems people are just too eager to complain.
In test one it was just better than lowe so it needed to nerfed. It's 12000 gold as Lowe so it should as good as lowe not better or worse.
It has a over top gun, so rest of the tank has to be crappy as Lowes only real good point is the gun.
Best solution is still unnerfing some of the second test nerfs and giving Lowe 1000hp engine so it could even ones be in time on the battlefield. This and noone would have anything to complain about here

Comparison of tier 8 heavies on 0.7.2 test 2:

As you can see the T34 is still not that bad. Damage output is still higher than with the Löwe and it has the highest damage per shot and penetration and an accuracy close to that of the 10.5 L/61 of the Tiger II.
They needed to give the T34 some disadvantages because otherwise T32 would be too bad for tier 8 compared to T34. Still I think T32 needs the Patton's 105mm gun...

And if we believe the forums, it is the Alpha strike that matters. T34 seems to have easily the best alpha capability. Most damage, good accuracy and reliable penetration. Only thing that make it worse is the long aim time, but tooling the crew and equipment to counter that should be possible anyway.
So vertical stabilizer, gunlaying drive, ventilation, and skills that keep the circle smaller when moving, and it should be ready to fire fast enough.

Same aiming time like "russian-op" IS-3, better alpha, much better accuracy and amazing pen. This eases my mind. Given the tanks other strengths and weaknesses I think it will be well balanced. Thanks for that chart, haters still gonna hate but i'm fine with it.

So, luckily I took some screenshots in test#1 and I am amazed to see how a bad tank can get even more nerfed!
The stats below are given as [current 7.1] - [7.2test#1] - [7.2 test#2].
Beware that 7.1 stats are recalculated from 133% to 100% to be comparable with 7.2 norms.
ROF: 4.92 - 4.38 - 4.14 !!!
Aiming time : 2.63 - 2.9 - 3.4 !!!
Turret traverse: 27.1 - 25 - 18 !!!!
View Range: 420 - 367 - 360
Only "BUFF" in test#2 is bringing back accuracy to 0.7.1.1 levels:
Accuracy: 0.35 - 0.40 - 0.35.
Seriously, who will spend 12000 gold on this? It was hard enough winning a game in 2-3 with the T34 as it was. With all these crippling nerfs its going to be worthless. WG will not even have to pull a "Type59" ninja nerf later on, this tank is dead from start.

Unfortunately your forgetting one thing.
The way they have changed the stats being displayed, in reality, this means that the RoF, aim time and view range have not been nerfed by anywhere much as you seem to think.
Yes the T34 was and still is the weakest Tier 9, other than in rare circumstances, however, were it to move to a tier 8 premium with only a HP nerf, then that would make it seriously overpowered. Why, because "premium" tanks are not supposed to be comparable to a fully upgraded normal tank of their tier, andd given that premium tanks earn creds at a phenomenal rate, withy reduced repair and ammo costs. Is it even vaguely realistic to expect a T34 premium to not only have higher average AP and damage than ANY tier 8 heavy tank, but also expect it to keep the current RoF of its tier 9 variant, that would mean it was able to eat any tier 8 Heavy for breakfast?
At tier 8 premium, its job is to do damage and earn you money, given the current gun can hurt anything in the game and its accuracy has actually been buffed (due to the stat display changes), seems what you wanted was a tier 9 premium classed as a tier 8.
Had it remained as it was, then the only way it could have been effectively chaanged to premium, would be to make it the only tier 9 premium in game.

This table perfectly sums things up. Really no need to complain about the T34. Anyone with half a brain can see that the t34 is nowhere near the ZOMG!!! Totally underpowerd pice of sh*t as some ppl try to present it. A failed whine tread, nothing more.
Edit: The KV-5 is missing in the table... I have a feeling it would be really funny to see its stats in comparison with the others.
