Hi,

I have recently been searching for WoT sound mods and I bumped into CoH voice mod. I decided to test it. Sound pack was quite good but i thought i could do a better one .
And here is result of my work:
These voices are compilation of Tiger, Panther, Pz4, Stug, Officer and so on, but they fit ideally. Some voices are of course missing (e.g. crew wont tell you that you have defeated\won  <_<  or that u have put somebody on fire) but, if you give me ideas for new sounds, I will try to implement them.

For now there are only German-English (Wermaht) voices available but maybe in near future i will try to make USA\British voice pack. I will also add a video soon.

And here is the link to other CoH mod:

Company of Heroes German-English Voice mod v2

I have corrected some sounds and added some new (e.g. "German Steel !" http://forum.worldof...fault/cool.png: or "Pride of the Fatherland !"). I have also turned up a volume of the sounds, so you don't have to play with audio settings in the game.

Sounds Added:

-new voices on start
-new voices when track is damaged\destroyed
-new voices when hitting\destroying enemy
-added ally hit\killed voice (don't try them )
-and much more

Company of Heroes American Voice mod

Hi again,
I have recently been bored so I decided to make an American voice pack :Smile_great:
. It is not as good as Wermaht voice pack just because of that most of voices "look" like this "Sherman has contact" or "Tiger down !, Tiger down ! , shit i thought we were dead". So if you kill, for example M4 Sherman, you can get voice "tiger down!". Anyway check it out and give me feedback on this one. Also if you have any ideas on how to improve my mod leave it in comments or send me an email.

Change log:

-added new sounds
-replaced sounds like "Tiger down ! tiger down!" even if you didn't kill tiger
-fixed volume on some sounds

The best part in the CoH sound mod, when you drive a huge german tanks, and you get a voice response:
GERMAN STEEEEEEL.

Um complete noob here but i can't get this to work.

Is there a folder structure other than sticking files in Res mods?

I have tried putting the Folder and loose files in Res mods and the version number folder in res mods.

If you want to install mod you have to:
1. Create folder "audio" in wot_directory\res_mods\0.7.1.1\
2. Open folder that you have created and copy ingame_voice.fev and ingame_voice.fsb from archive that you downloaded
3. Copy all audio files from wot_directory\res\audio (gui.fev, gui.fsb, hits.fev, hits.fsb and so on) except ingame_voice.fev and ingame_voice.fsb

I forgot to follow up on my previous comment.

I've got it running next to WoT War Atmosphere mod. The dramatic comments of the crew (American voice) complements the more rich, bold sound effects of WWA greatly. I recommend it it as well.
