In just under two weeks I will embark on a 4 month charity walk over about 2100km from Scotland to Luxembourg, so won't be online until about August. :)
Going to miss WoT and this forum!
Hopefully see you around again later in the year and with some luck I may even get to update to 7.2 when I arrive ... if I arrive :P

When he said August, I assumed he meant August this year...

Thanks a lot guys, will need a bit of luck :P
Yup Shifty, keeping a blog, on facebook since i can update my status easily by text message. Set my page as public in case anyone wants to see how i get on. At the risk of opening myself up to a bit of spam (plz don't!!), you can fine me on facebook as Dan Scheer.

I will indeed pass through Belgium Theta, trying to schedule my walk so I can make it to Rock Werchter where I have been 12 years in a row so far :)

Break a leg!

Not literally of course :)

However, now that I mention it, there's a good programme on Discovery channel at the moment on search and rescue helicopters who find climbers in trouble, if you do need their assistance, as the guy comes down the rope to sort you out, try to remember to make a 'W' sign with your hands so we know its you!

If you cant do this with your hands for any reason, just grin through the pain and shout "World of Tanks!"

Good luck.

Good luck and have fun. Walking is the best way of traveling! You meet so many interesting people.

I suggest not putting up the tent on camping sites much. Its much cheaper and much more exciting to ask people if you can put up your tent in their backyard for the night. I've experienced so much kindness from many people this way and many interesting stories.

Thanks, and couldn't agree more! Not actually taking a tent and just sleeping wild in my bivvi, weighs less and more flexible :)

My old French teacher forced us to sing that. I still hate it.
