This reply conserning the Desingated target Perk can mean 2 different things:

Overlord said:

It should work for SPGs as well. The requirement is that you need to see the target directly, ie not in the arty mode.
1. the target needs to be in spotting range (ie this is usually not the case in arty mode)
2. this only works when using the normal view, not the arty view mode
I'm not sure which interpretation is correct. Did anyone test this, or find a better explanation? The second doesn't make sense, but otherwise his example would be wrong.

does the dead eye perk actualy work:/  it don't seem to do anything. Seems bit of a waste:( or am i missing something?
yep it 100% and since "critcal hit" is now gone, how do you know it actually does anything?

There is a difference in new crew and old crew.
new crew must repair first, because it always works,
old crew...(old commander) can get 6th sense, and then do repairs.

I drop and replace the perk when it reaches 100%

With any luck maybe i get tracked once, i use repairkit, but only if i must hurry,
even with repairs as secundairy, tracks repair before arty can fire again.

but i come from behind wall and shoot (hopefully) 10 times per battle,
to avoid being hit while i aim, i need to aim as fast as possible.

T34 takes 13.5 seconds to reload, so i can't afford to miss targets (much)
I use stabilizer, enhanced gunlaying and rammer,

gunner gets snapshot, driver gets smoothride,
i need to know if i am spotted, so commander gets 6th sense,
T34 + M109 have 2 loaders, 1 has safe ammo-storage, other repairs, then fights fire.
Radioguy get situational awareness, cos i got no room for optics.

For a bit of extra horsepower, i use the +5% oil,
no  fire-extinguisher, i almost never have a fire,
it helps to try and face the enemy with frontal armour only.

All in all, it gives me 1%-2% extra wins ;-)
Global wins 51%, T34 wins 52%-53%,
Except for "wet ammorack" everything the same for Type 59 ... 57% wins

Stabilizer, smoothride and snapshot make a bigger impact if you move faster.

Cya on the battlefield.

How does "Call for Vengeance" work?
Does it report what the dead vehicle sees?
If so what does it see (basic vehicle spotting range or what)?
Or does it report the enemies seen at the moment of death

Thx in advance

I think the latter, the vehicles seen at the moment of death, for some seconds longer, I have it on some tanks, but never noticed the dead tank actually spotting a (new, next) vehicle, after it was destroyed, just the ones it had painted at the moment of destruction.

Camo for arti is useless if you start your arti grind @ t5/6 (Hummel/S-51). Getting your tracks up to avoid enemy fire is far more important because camo values for those big arti are near 0.
Also camo is useless on german TDs since t8+ TDs dont have a camo value to speak.

Are you sure about that? No point giving Hummel/Su5 Camo skill? Neither German TDs?

Is "Snap Shot","Smooth Ride" and "Designated Target" working with Artillery?

Does Snap Shot work with TD's? Or at least with those with turrets?
