ok in the last week i found at least 30% tier10 tanks and at least 10% tier8 tanks shooting gold in random battles.

the situation is a bit unbearable... i even met several types, tigerP and T29s shooting gold penning the is7 front lower plate.

before you all start saying "noob they just aim for weakspots!", you should know that gold ammo tracer is light blue. So when you see light blue tracers, you know your enemy is shooting gold ammo at you.

now not only big clans owning zones in CW are spamming gold ammo (even with batchats) but with the late WG policy about gold ammo discount in event days, the game became a gold ammo fest. also a 50B shooting your frontal ammo rack with the worst angle possible and blowing you up, is not really what someone should expect to see in a random battle.

now, i can deal with gold ammo abuse in CW... and even in absolute TC... but please WG... if you just want to make the most money from this game (since selling hundred thousand of types, lowes and zillion premium accounts is not enough) set the gold ammo cost X10 or remove it from random battles.

i hope the system will show some love to the standard ammo shooters or i'll simply delete my 7k battles account with my several T9 meds, T10 heavy and other stuff.

now before giving me negative rep spam, try to stop and think about to where this game is headed to.

i really feel sad about leaving my lovely clan because people needs to put gold above skill and WG needs to keep pushing money income SEVERAL LAYERS above gameplay.

i'm not ranting or crying.. just stating facts about where this game is going to be if WG keeps kickin more and more the players butt... and i'm not a free to play customer.. i own a premium tank, premium account and spend a moderate amount of gold in this game... but less than 24/7 gold ammo shooters

i pack gold ammo specificly to shoot IS-4 and IS-7 tanks in randoms with certain tanks, just to piss people off.

it's my revange for having to suffer nerfs in tanks that don't deserve them

Im pretty sure they removed the tracer colour/ammo. But would love to see screenshot to prove otherwise.

Yea, to me its the closest thing to p2w in this game and thus the most disliked.
I dont like the whole idea of gold ammo and imo it should be completely removed.

Dear WG, I'm fine with you wanting us to pay more and more money but please just remove gold ammo. At least from random battles.

Just give us more Premium tanks or special event camos or other stuff we dont need but want to have thats not gamebreaking

the game needs people like those that buy gold to keep it going obviously so that people like you can play so what you moaning for....be greatfull you have it for free in the first place,personally i dont care what ammo people use....last thing on my mind in battle  

TBH I don't care if they shoot gold-ammo at me. If this is their fun I'm OK. If they kill me then exit and pick next tank.
We like it or not gold-ammo is a part of the game.

I kind of laugh thinking... they're wasting money but don't get too frustrated I've got the option to buy it as well.

Nor did I ever witness anyone admitting they use gold ammo in random battles, which is weird, because according to you 1 in 3 of the tier X owners would use it,

I could  say that this rather ridiculous, cause, what you are asking, that if you drive an IS4, and E75, which are regular oponents for Type and T32 (T29), you want to laugh in theyr face cause they ar helpless.
Just because of MM and lemming trains I also load 6 - 10 golds for each battle.

P.S. A lemming tier9 can be dealt without gold...

Is it a fact that you can tell the type of ammo by the color of tracers? Or just a myth?

The only time I was sure I was hit by a gold ammo was when VK2801 with short gun one-shot me in M4, and then one-shot other 2 or 3 tanks in rapid succession.

i use Gold Ammo on some Tanks to get faster to T10 Tanks and on E-100 with 15cm gun i have to use Gold Ammo the other is to weak

of course i bought this Ammo mostly when it was 50% off

and were stand that your not allowed to use Gold Ammo outside of CWs ? show me this rule please

The problem is not with the gold ammo.. this a f2p game and as in all f2p there are premium stuff (ammo, magic wand, and so on....) .
I don't think that everyone would be satisfied about monthly fee and removing all the things you can buy for gold. Because this is the other option.
I know a lot of people think WG is greedy and ruins f2p players game experience, but get over with it. This how a f2p game works. I got some gold/premium stuff too, but i hate it when someone gets advantage tru gold too, but i can repeat myself ..this is how it work, i say it myself too.
When someone choose to play a f2p game he/she must know how it works.


ps.: yup.. i know there are fully free online games... but as far as i know they have very rich supporters.

Well, at least with guns that use HEAT ammo as gold ammo (like the 15cm on E-100 or T110E5), you can know 100% sure if they are using AP or HEAT:

It's a free to play game, you're getting a game for FREE. How can you complain that it is not fair? You have the option to buy the gold or not it is entirely up to you. You pay for your premium account knowing that gold ammo is in the game, you judge the opportunity cost for getting 50% XP/Credits or buying 2,500 golds worth of premium shells. Its the players decision whether or not they purchase the gold ammo and you knowingly enter a random game knowing there is a chance of coming across a player with gold ammo whether you like it or not.

Personally I like gold ammo in randoms, though I only ever use it in clan wars as I find it a bit of a waste in randoms. I recently had my IS-7 taken out by an IS-3 with gold ammo, he won the game because of it and personally I think it was a great move from him to be honest. It can help your team massively and it doesn't mean people are going to use it all the time. In fact reading this thread I might actually place one or two premium rounds into my tanks in case I come across one of those moments where it is absolutely vital I penetrate/kill the E-100/Maus to win the game.
