Hello there!

I would like to ask if its possible to make platoon for 5 player instat of only 3?

I'm sure there are many more gamers who would love to have it!

I completely disagree because of only 15 tanks on battle at once.If it rizes,it would be a niceee idea:)

I can only imagine stat whores bragging how awesome they are because they have 90% win ratio.

That was a plan, but they must have tried it in testing, and it completely unbalanced the gameplay. So the man from WG, he say NO.

If they add 30 vs 30.

Otherwise, it'd be far too easy to make a large difference in *random* battles.

Devs are afraid for unbalanced game ... platoons must get a tier limit between platoonmates tanks e.x is,pz4,m6(not biger from is not smaller from pz4 2 tier difference)

I absolutely disagree, we have enough dumb people in random battles, a platoon of 5 on a 15 team is not acceptable.

I voted no... but in fact i want it... just need bigger teams on bigger maps... which is currently impossible because of the graphics engine of the game.

Yes, they should be allowed providing they are balanced against another platoon of 5.

At the moment we have platoons of 6 getting in battles just by counting to 3 and clicking together, with nothing to balance the.

If i remember correctly,in a Q&A thread, WG said that they have abandoned 5 player platoon.

5 person platoons are only fun for the peeps in that platoon. Everyone else gets rogered till they cry.

3 is enough for few reasons
Imagine platons as in this example and im sure it would happen more often than not:

5 tier 8 arty's
1 tier 8 arty and 4 scouts (lets face it who need so many scouts in tier 8-10 fights?
1 tier 5-10 and 4 lol-tractors
5 bat-chat platoon (or any other fast shooting fast moving tank), most maps are with hills, mean team who gets this platoon had big big advantage, also platoon works better than 5 individuals as players in platoon communicate while random players not so much

there was something else that crossed my head but kill me now i cant remember  

now dont get me wrong i love to team up with my mates and would love to be able for more of us to be in same platoon, but i think generally it would be bad for a game as team with good big platoons would have advantage , unless there is some clown who brings small tanks in big fight just to piss of other players.
Now this idea would be great if game is expanded a bit so that there is at least 30 players per team, that way 5 tanks in one platoon wouldnt make so much of a diference

Although I'd really love to go on platoon with more than 2 of my clanmates, I don't think it's a good idea before the general team size can be increased to at least 20 players. It's fun to win, but not without any challenge at all.

Only if there would be more players per team, otherwise 5 player platoon would highly imbalance the game. There are already enough players that figured out how and what must be done so that you can get at least in 2 out of 5 occasions on the same team with 2 sometimes even 3 platoons.

I am having enough seeing 2 platoons that I know are playing in the same clan on the enemy team, that is a 6 player advantage, now you want to add 5 per platoon. Meaning 2 platoons get in, 10 players in 1 team that are in a clan, vs other team that is made up of random people? Are you kidding me?
